Hello,
I would like to set my pivot points to London Open. Since the Pivot indicator is not adjustable, I imagine I should do this by shifting the time of the data. Since data is in GMT (correct?) and London opens at 8:00 GMT, then I think I should shift the data -8 hours when importing and then treat 0:00 as 8:00. Is this the correct procedure?
Also, is there any plan to have the Pivot indicator more manageable since some strategies call for London open pivots, where some call for NY close, and I have seen none that use GMT 0 as a starting point.
Kind regards,
Dave Rinaldi

Hello Dave,
Yes, you need to shift time to "-8" so London Open bar will be the first bar of the day in Forex Tester and Forex Tester will calculate Pivot Points according to this bar.
So you need the setting for Pivot Points indicator whre you can adjust the time zone of indicator?

Hi Dave
Did you get a pivot indicator to work work for London times, I am trying to find a pivot indicator that will only look at the price movements of the previous day between 8am and 4.30pm UK time.

Hello,
Sorry, but we don't have this type of Pivot Points indicator.
You can try to create a new project with GMT-8 time zone and add built-in Pivot Points indicator.
In this case the 8 AM GMT+0 bar will be the first bar of the day in our program and Pivot Points indicator will show values based on these data.
Maybe this will work for you.
