Before I buy the final version, I have downloaded the trial version of FT 2.8.

I have successfully imported the EURUSD data from my Broker Dukascopy for month of May 2012.

With this new EURUSD data that I've imported, all the indicators and chart data seem to be working well in History Mode but when I change the mode, this data does not show up in 'Testing Mode'

I have also generated the ticks for this new data by using the available options in 'data center'

I have deleted all other old data (including all currency pairs) by using the 'clear data' option in data center in History Mode.

All data is deleted except some old EURUSD data which still shows up in 'Tesing mode'.

The 'Testing Mode' does not show the new EURUSD data that I have prepared in History Mode, however, (inspite of deleting all old data), it continues to show some old EURUSD data which was available in the trial version.

What else is required for the new EURUSD data to be generated in 'Testing Mode'?

Please advice. I look forward to your reply at the earliest.

Hello Ajay,

Please try starting a test in Testing Mode. this mode shows the results of the previous tests with old data until you start a new test.
use "Start Test" button to begin a test, see more information here: http://forextester.com/testing.html

i have gone thru the tutorials and tried everything already. i have already tried pressing the start test button.
it still continues to show old data only.

the new data seems to work well in history mode but does not appear in testing mode.

i have tried everything mentioned in your tutorials.

i have even tried to delete all old data, then installed again.

But when i enter into testing mode and press the option for eurusd currency pair, it only shows the old chart. Even start test option does not bring in new data.

Hmm, that is strange...

Usually re-importing data and re-generating ticks helps to solve this issue. Please try re-generating ticks again. If that do not help then send your Skype ID to our support email (support@forextester.com) and we'll try to help you via remote support session.

I too have experienced this time and time again. For me, it usually occurs after a few hours of back testing. I have performed/cleaned/removed the data just as ajay has described also having no results. The only work around I've found is a complete uninstall of FT, defrag, then reinstall. I can't go more than 2-3 hours of non stop testing without this happening. I simply chalked it up as an issue with my computer.

This has been happening for roughly 7 months.
