Heiken Ashi Smoothed

#1 Postby dackjaniels » Mon Mar 09, 2009 12:46 pm

Hi all,

Just converted this from MT4, tested and working in ForexTester 1 & 2.
It's a smoothed out heiken ashi type indicator.

Delphi source and .dll files included.

Regards,
Steve :)

Hi Steve,

I am new to Forex Tester and am really thankful that you have converted the Heiken Ashi Smoothed indicator over for us. I would like to change the settings (as you can in MT4) of MaMetod, MaPeriod, MaMetod2, and MaPeriod 2. Do you have any suggestions as to how I can do this?

Thanks for your help!

Best,
Alex

Hi, long time since the dackjaniels posted his request about heikenashismoothed. I'm also interested with this indicator for forextester. In fact, I don't bought forextester yet, but if somebody is so kind to code this indicator for forextester 2, then, I'm going to buy the program.

Hello jguellbo,

Can you please clarify what features you are missing in the Forex Tester version of indicator posted by dackjaniels?

opsss, I'm sorry, the indicator is working very well. I didn't read well the post of dackjaniels, so it's my mistake. Anyway I'm also interested with pldot for forextester, is there a possibility to convert the indicator attached in this post ?http://forextester.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3304

But now I've realized that is not possible to change the default settings. As Karate 864 said, it would be nice if anybody add the possibility to change the default settings, as the original indicator for metatrader. Which is attached here.

Hi Stonev, thank you very much for your help, that's very kind of you, but I think there is something wrong in your indicator. It looks like the settings are changed, for example, in your configuration there is:

MaMetod->2
MaPeriod->Smoothed; Simple....
Ma Metod2->3
Ma Period2->Wieghted;Exponential...

But the correct configuration is different:

MaMetod->Smoothed; Simple....
MaPeriod->2 ( 30; 50, etc)
Ma Metod2->Wieghted;Exponential..
Ma Period2-> 3...20..50 etc

Sorry Stonev, so I'm confused. How I can change the period of the moving average? for example a 50 period or 200 period
