Hiya,
I was wondering if Forex tester can be used to backtest the S&P 500 emini contract?
If so, how would I go about setting it up?
Cheers,

In the Currency List create new symbol SP5USD (S&P500 to USD)
Currency pair name SP5USD (or anything like ABCUSD)
Base currency SP5 (or ABC)
Digits after point 2
Lot size 100
Spread 75 (for example on CFD's, you can set your own) |

Hi again,
So I found some free tick data for the ES.
It is in file extension type rs1 which I've never heard of.
I got it from a site selling another simulator program so maybe it is a special file type for that program.
Can it be used with FT?

I do not know, if it is a text format then you can try, if not then you can not. _________________ Hasta la vista
