Help getting strategies working!!!

Hi,

Im having issues trying to get strategies to run. So here a bit of info on whats happening:

If I cut the code from: http://www.forextester.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1013 into lazarus (vers: 9.26.2 running on win 7 64bit vers - with the compiler options set to delphi and code options set to win64. also having LCL as the required package) the software with compile correctly with no errors.

From there I copy the DemoStrategy.dll to the c:/forextester2/strategies folder. I open forex tester 2 - go to strategies and the Demostrategy is not listed.

As a double check I go - install strategies - select the Demostrategy.dll file - it then pops up:

"Can no install strategy, file will be deleted
Have error: can not find or load "strategy.dll"


So, im kinda stumped how to get this working - Please help???..

Ok, so I think the problem is lazarus. I compiled the code in delphi 7 lite - it ran no problem.

So I dont know how to solve the problem , but the workaround is to use delphi lol!

Hmm, a bit strange problem but you're correct, the best workaround is to use Delphi
