Broker Data Import & Usage

I'm about to push the buy button but before I do:
1) There was talk of a v3 coming in the spring of 2015, but we're now several months later. Is there a chance it's going to come out in the very near future and if it does (within a month or so) would I be entitled to a free upgrade as many other software vendors offer? This would help me buy with confidence now instead of waiting.
2) I have 10+ years of real OHLC data from my broker in several time frames (Week, Day, 4H, 1H, 30M, 15M, 5M, 1M) for all the pairs I'm currently interested in trading. Am I right in thinking that as long as I export these to a suitable CSV file (e.g. one file per pair and in the PAIR, Date/Time, O, H, L, C format) that FT2 will import and use it? Is it just the 1M data I will need or are the other time frames useful, i.e. does it always calculate the higher time frames from the 1M data?
3) I have real tick data from much less time, so am I right in thinking the real tick data is only useful for knowing the exact time of execution (less than 1M resolution) or for when the 1M candle could straddle both TP and SL ? If the 1M does straddle the TP / SL is the SL checked first (my preference) ?
4) The data I have is all GMT. How does FT2 handle daylight savings time then showing day start / end etc (if at all) ?
Any feedback is much appreciated. Thanks!
