Can not connect to the data server

When I went into the data center today, it says "Can not connect to the data server, offline mode". I'm not able to download any pairs. The software has been registered, and was testing one pair just fine until this happened. What needs to happen to get this working?

Hi

I am getting the message "Can not connect to the data server" when trying to update the pairs - this is happening on all pairs.

Is the server down?

Thanks

Paul

Hi

I bought the standard data service and am having trouble updating the data using the ECN feed. (It works fine with FXCM feed)

The only currencies it works with are AUDCAD, AUDNZD, AUDUSD, GBPUSD, USDCHF and XAGUSD - none of the others work.

I keep getting the message "Can not download data from server".

I have cleared the data and restarted my PC but no difference.

Any ideas ?

Thanks

Hi Support,

I am getting the same message "Can not download data from server, offline mode". Can this please be permanently resolved. I really was looking forward for some testing however this does not allow me to continue further and my time is wasted.

Regards,

Bharatt

Hello,

If you see “Offline mode” message it means that something blocks the connection of the Forex Tester with our servers.

Please check your Internet connection and also please check firewall settings. If you use antivirus, please try to disable it and try to download data again.

Also please note that you can download historical data from our site http://www.forextester.com/data/datasources and import these data into Forex Tester using “Import from a file” button in Data Center.

Please read this instruction about how to import data:
