I have noticed that 1 minute chart bars don't look normal probably due to the lack of tick data. Has anyone dealt with this? Does the VIP tick data feed improve the issue sufficiently to make 1 minute charts reliable for testing?
Thanks.

Hello
Free 1-minute data are provided without volumes so each 1-minute bar has 1-4 ticks in it.
Data from Standard and VIP Subscriptions are provided with real volumes so these data don't have such problem.

Effect of standard data Minute data on 1 minute charts
Hi,
I have 1 minute history data for my instrument.
I want to compress it to 3 minute my strategy market data. There is no such option only 2 minute or 5 minute
Is there a way to compress the data to 3 minute bars?
Thanks in advance,
Roy

Hello
You can download and install Forex Tester 2 version (even demo version will work).
There you can create 3-minute timeframe, then import historical data to the program via "Import from a file" button in the Data Center and then export 3-min historical data via "Export" button.
