Blocked registration and mirrored drives

Hi FT,
Recently, I've upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate. While doing this I had to reinstall FT. Not a problem, but...

I will start the demo, enter my registration key, then after I restart the program I will receive the message in the screenshot below.

I've never had this problem before but I have changed one aspect, I'm now mirroring a drive. The following setup is how my mirror was created (definitely not optional) but could this be the problem.

The physical hard drive has been partitioned into two separate drives. The OS and all other programs were installed on one partition, then on the second partition is where the mirror was created. Not optimal, I was just playing around with the option, but now I'm wondering if this is why I'm having the error.

I can easily remove the partition and move to another physical drive.

Any thoughts or ideas would be great.
