Adding Data to an existing Project.

#1 Postby Sosan » Fri Jun 08, 2012 10:14 am

Hello,
I have been running a backtest project until 30/3/2012 21:50. This is where the history data stopped. I then went to the history center to add more data. On reloading the project i was able to start the testing mode again , all history trades are there and i can step back in time candle by candle but i am unfortunately not able to continue past the original date of 30/3/2012 21:50 even though I have loaded all history up until the 1/6/2012.

thank in advance for any help you can give.

Hello Sosan,

Did you generate ticks after importing data?

Hmm, that is strange,

Please do the following:

1) Check that you can see new data on charts in History Mode
2) re-generate ticks again for the whole period

Does that help?
if not then please post the screenshots of what you do in details

Great, all working again. Of the 12 pairs I had in the data center 1 had not updated. After updating this pair and generating ticks all became hunky dory.
thanks for your help.
