test mode shows fixed spread, using tick data w/ floating

I checked "use floating spread" when generating ticks in history mode. I went to testing mode, and the spread value does not change.

The bid/ask appear to be floating, but the actual column that shows spread is staying at 3, instead of updating in real time. In this screenshot, the spread should be 1.06833 - 1.06806 = 2.7. It seems like a minor cosmetic fix, but important nevertheless.

Question: are there other places on the chart that show the spread?

question: is there way to show ask on the market info tick chart? what about changing the color of bid/ask lines?

on the regular chart, is there way to change color of lines?

Sorry but no, it is not possible.

You can change the color can be changed but it will be the same for both lines.

4 years later and I got the same thing. 3 pip spread (floating point spread option) showed as 2.

Please add Bid and Ask prices on chart via Chart Options. Do you see the same difference between these prices on chart during testing? Or the difference is floating?

Its Feb 15, 2016 and I'm have the same problem. I am a VIP data service member and I've checked the Bid and Ask price on the chart options and checked the "Use Floating spread" box in Generate tick data dialog box and then generated tick data. Then I did a test and still the floating spread is fixed,not floating. How do I fix this?

Hello,

Please right-click on the chart in Testing Mode -> Chart settings. Then switch to "Chart options" tab and activate "Show Bid level" and "Show Ask level" options.

And if you downloaded tick data, generated ticks for the period where tick data are downloaded then you will see that the distance between Bid and Ask prices is changing.
