Strategy Optimizer now freezing

#1 Postby swannyfx » Sun Aug 15, 2010 3:39 am

Hi,

A strategy that ran fine last week is now causing strategy optimizer to freeze after a few runs. I noticed that I had some windows 7 updates installed over the weekend and am wondering if this is causing the problems. The debug.log contains the error:

2010.08.15 17:55:48 (TDateTimeBar.paint) Access violation at address 006C676C in module 'ForexTester.exe'. Read of address 04FBCD74

I've tried reinstalling ForexTester and the problem still occurs. Is anyone else having the same issue? Any ideas on how to fix it?

Cheers,
Swannyfx.

Hello, probably this strategy contains an error. To fix it please try to define parameters set which causes this error then try to run the strategy in Testing Mode with debug enabled (see this post: http://forextester.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1760).

I'm not sure it is an error in the strategy because the code worked last week but I'll try it anyway.

How do I attach to a process using Lazarus?

Hmm, as far as i know Lazarus does not support attaching to a running process.
