FT3: When importing, Source File window blank and no data

So I've been trying to get this data import feature to work for a while now. No matter what I do, including reinstalling FT3, the Source File preview window is always blank.
I've tried exporting data from FT3 then trying to re-import it so I can be sure the data is in the proper format and that doesn't work. I've tried exporting data from FXCM and importing it in to FT3 but that doesn't work either. In all cases, nothing ever shows up in the Source File window. As a result, if I assign the columns to their appropriate values and try to continue I get the error that there's no data to import.
