Generate tick data doesn't work

I just purchased the Lite version, input my computer ID and registration key. When I choose a valid date, check GBPUSD, click point by point, and then click on generate, nothing happens. When I go to testing and connect, it tells me I have no tick data.

Can you help? I use Windows XP

Did you import data first from this page? http://www.forextester.com/datasources.html

Thanks, that worked for me on Thursday night. Since then, the program hasn't worked for me.

I open the program, import the file, select a valid date range (2009.01.13 to 2009.01.15, check the GBP/USD, select point by point, then I click on Generate tick data. Then, I go to testing mode, connect, and it says I have no data.

I tried the uninstall and install and I get the same problem.

I tried the uninstall and install and I get the same problem.

Data on our site was updated up to 2009.01.01, so for for your period there is no data.
