Forex Tester 5 Forum

Hi,

I use EA Builder (http://www.eabuilder.com) to build indicators and EA's for MT4 as required for my own trading.

Have you ever considered to develop something similar for Forex Tester? Or to collaborate with EA Builder to develop such a application for FT?

From my own experience and from posts here in the forum the lack of skills to build one's own indi's and strategies in FT is one of the major drawbacks of a otherwise wonderful product.

We are looking for something like this at the moment. We plan to create a converter that will convert MT4 files to Forex Tester .dll files but if we don't succeed, we will try to create indicators/EA builder.

Building a converter is a very difficult job, our programmers are trying to implement it, if they succeed we will post this converter.

If you guys build a converter you guys will dominate this market for years to come. I hope you guys do succeed.

I agree with wowzers.

If word was out that ForexTester could automatically convert strategy/dll files into ex4 or even mql file. WOW, that would be a game changer. I have to wonder how many developers that work on MT4 would start to transition into using FT? If you want to attract more developers, maybe start off by implementing this conversion process. Although, I can easily see how difficult it would be.

I'd pay 3X's the price for FT if it could convert my strategies into an MT4 EA.
