I receive a lot of requests to code different indicators, so I want to clarify our policy about this

1. If this indicator is very famous, and many people use it and it will be useful to include this indicator into our software in next build - we will do it for free.

2. If this indicator is custom and does not meet the rule 1, we will not program it (for free or for money), but some people on the forum can help you:

- Tantalus - very generous guy, sometimes does it for free
- Rmax - will do it for money
- RickD - will do it for money

Other software developers are welcome here.

I want to program this MT4 indicator for forex tester
What will be the charges?

I see a number of people have requested a weekly pivot. This is a simple adjustment to the existing daily pivot already provided except use weekly high, low and close data rather than daily. Is this request popuar enough to be included in the next build? When would that be?

If there are people already doing some simple indicators for free, is there a library of these .dll files somewhere we can pull from?

I will correct this indicator soon. About other free indicators you can search on this forum.

Sorry we do not have any step-by-step guide, you just need to choose programming language (Delphi or C++) and try to convert some indicators.
Our API is very similar to MQL (same methods names, etc...)

Need: sessions shadow box, quarter theory indicator, prvious day h/l indicator,and just help where it does not look so boring.I will post a picture of what I want the tester to be like.

For shadow boxes you can use built-in Forex Tester "Time Box" indicator. It will highlight the bars of necessary sessions.

For fast orders you can use CTRL+B (fast Buy orders) and CTRL+S (fast Sell orders) buttons. You can defin these fast orders in Tools -> Options menu, "Trading" tab.

Do you have quarter theory indicator in MT4 format? Can you please post it here so I can show it to our programmer?

I have a question for you. I need alert functions for Forex Tester.
Is it possible to create an price alert system/indicator for FT2?
What I mean in detail:
I start trading with FT2, loading multiple chart, more currency pairs. At the beginning I make my analysis on each chart. Draw trendlines, supp/res lines, moving averages, etc.
Start test on multiple charts on same time, and when in one chart the price touch my line, it gives me a signal on popout window, or dashboard, or whatever, with the name of the currency pair where the signal occured.. Like this I can run and trade on multiple pairs simultanously, not only in the opened chart window, because I get alert from other pairs also.
Is it possible to create it?
