FIX PARABOLIC SAR!

#1 Postby pthomas82 » Wed Jun 08, 2011 5:05 pm

Hi Guys,

Im looking for someone to fix the PARABOLIC SAR indicator for this platform.

Basically the issue is- the psar causes any tests to slowsdown dramatically (if you want to see - just preload 1000+ bars with psar on and then try run a test)

I am happy to pay if you can let me know costs.

Just Pm Me through the msg board.

Thanks!

Hi Support,

This parabolic works WAYYY better than the first version as preloading 1000 days does not slow it down for testing (or running a long test).

Currently the options:

Step
Maximum

are only capable to be set to 2 decimal places (i.e 0.02 not 0.002)

are you able to increas this by a couple of decimal places?

also to call up this indicator in a strategy would I use:

Code: Select all

 IndPSAR := CreateIndicator ('EURUSD', Period_M1, 'PARABOLIC', '0.002; 0.002')

THANKS AGAIN!!! AWESOME JOB!

Hi Support,

Thanks for the update - but I think its the same as the old one: same value out of range when I try put it in.

I dl'ed twice and deleted old and rechecked.

Thanks again for all your help!

Hmm, strange, maybe we accidentally sent you old version. Please try the attached one, do these steps to install the indicator:

1) download the indicator
2) Extract it from zip archive
3) Replace old PSAR file in <Forex Tester>\Indicators folder
