I also have the same error when importing a statement from mt4.Could you show an example of a statement for us to play around with. Maybe just a simple MA crossover. I take it that a statement as you describe is an expert advisor from mt4 saved into a html file? Not to sure of this?

Statement is a HTML file where Meta Trader stores trading results. Just history of trading. When you open "Account History" tab in MT4 and press right mouse button on it and choose "Save as report".

Thus when you have this report from another person you can replay it with this strategy and see how that person made his/her trades.
