OCZ Synapse cache SSD

Hello Support,

I recently have bought a cache SSD - http://www.ocztechnology.com/ocz-synaps ... 5-ssd.html with the intentions to speed up my strategy optimization. I read on these forums that the major bottleneck is HDD fo cache.

Anyway I have installed the drive and have noticed a great improvement in all programs (i.e 50% increase in windows boot time / all programs opening massive speed increase)

However when it comes to strategy optimization no speed increase (I used a stopwatch to time runs - before SSD install time 1min23sec , after ssd install - basically the same).

Can you tell me if it is because of the way FT2 accesses the currency data (does it access the data for cache)

I believe the HDD is going to be the bottleneck.

my system:

i7 9.20 (oc'ed to 4gz)
Asus P6T Mobo
6gb Ram
2TB WD RE4 HDD
128gb OCZ Synapse Cache SSD
