Hello FT Staff,
I have bought FT2 a while back but did not use it
Recently I started using it and noticed extreme data difference on the M5 chart.
The Candle formation on available data is very different than real data and it literally ignores all wicks.
Please take a look at both charts
Please tell me why is that and how it can be fixed?
Regards
M. Ahsun

Re: Extreme data difference on M5 Chart
Anybody?
Please tell me why there is gaps and different shape candlesticks on testing data?
How can i change it because it is impossible to run tests on this spoiled data

Re: Extreme data difference on M5 Chart
Hello,
Free data from the Forexite broker are 4-digit data and they are provided without volumes. So each M1 bar has 1-4 ticks only.
We recommend using these data on M15-M30 timeframes and higher.
If you want to perform testing on lower tiemframes in Paid Data Service we provide 1-minute data with real volumes (Standard Subscription) and real tick data with Bid and Ask prices (VIP Subscription).
These data have better quality and we recommend to use them for more precise testing.
These are 5-digit data.
Standard and VIP are monthly subscriptions.
You can read about our paid data service and subscribe to it here:
http://www.forextester.com/HistoryServiceDescription
Or you can import the data from your broker into our program manually and use these data in the program during testing.
These data can be imported into the program using "Import from a file" button in the Data Center.
