THe progress ran smoothly until the tail end (after 5 mins) with the below message when updating the bars..
Cannot download data from server

I only attempted to download GBPUSD from 2010 onwards.

THis happened when it is updating - at around 70% it gave the error

What operating system do you use? Do you use any antiviruses?

Please try to do the following steps:
1. Make sure that you have enough space at your hard drive.
2. Please clear data usning "Clear" button and try to downlaod data again.

Hi I have more than sufficient space around 50GB. I am using Win 8.1

I had done a clear but the problem still persists.. Is the prog compatible with win 8?

On top of that problem, i get another error when i tried to generate ticks wih just 2 years of data! Seems FT2 is really unstable!

Can you please send us bug report if it appears again? It will help us to fully understand the problem.

Forex Tester is fully compatible with Windows 8 and 8.1

Maybe, some data files were damaged in your program. Please try to reinstall Forex Tester into another folder (like, C:\ForexTester2New), this should help.

I have reinstalled with the same error.

I would send the bug report but the prog does not allow me duh...

You can also download historical data from our site as text file and then import this text file with data into Forex Tester using "Import from a file" button in Data Center window.

Are you able to import these data into Forex Tester? Or you have the same error?

Do you use any antiviruses? Please try to turn it off and download historical data again.
