Hello,

Note, that data from these two brokers have different number of digits (4-digit data from Forexite broker and 5-digits data from Alpari), so this can be a reason of your problem.

Please send us historical data from Alpari broker so we can check them.

Hello, We don't know how your strategy works (probably it is sensitive to price chages) but with more precise data it will show results, which are much closer to reality. So try to test all your strategy on data, which are as accurate as possible (1-minute or tick data) and try to avoid testing with...

Hello,

Historical data from Forexite are not "wrong". These data has 4 digits and thats why some candles end and start in different places. You can see the same situation in 5-digits data but teh difference will be smaller so visually open and close levels will be equal.

You can get indicator value with the help of such code:

Code: Select all

BollingerBandsTop := GetIndicatorValue(iHandle, 0, 0); //get current value of BollingerBandsTop
BollingerBandsBottom := GetIndicatorValue(iHandle, 0, 2); //get current value of BollingerBandsBottom

Yes, you can send us your strategy, but i don't think that we can help you with such strategies because they can work "a bit randomly" depending on very small factors. And this is not a fault of Forex Tester.

It seems that the difference was caused by the number of digits autopoint in historical data. In you your code you use "point" value which equals 0.0001 for 4-digits data (Forexite) and 0.00001 for 5-digits data (FXDD). Please try to place point value with some constant value like 0.0001
