Please be more professional in FT3 update

It is usual in majority windows software that when users press 'ESC' on keyboard, the current window/popup/dialog would be exit. It is so for pressing 'enter', a confirmation is sent to the software. It is also similar case for many trading platforms that when users press 'del' on keyboard, the sele...

Re: buy/sell marker

that's not the solution i know how to show/hide history or setup the color as transparent. this is the program working wrongly. the problem is simple and clear. the buy/sell markers cannot be set transparent, even if a user set it that way. if i set it as transparent, then it is in fact set as 'Blac...

Re: 'Not Responding' Causes

thanks,

i use no indicator or auto strategy. i repeatedly download data from forexit, default pairs by FT3.

do you mean that for a new project, i should take as few pairs as possible?

the only issue among your list, is that i have more than 10 pairs testing simultaneously in a 'project'

'Not Responding' Causes

Hi, I understand this is the 1st version of FT3, but there are too many 'not responding' incidents that can happen. i cannot be sure why these freeze / 'not responding' happened. maybe because i frequently use keyboard shortcuts? sometimes the freeze happened when i zoom the chart, sometimes when i ...

Where is the Profit Chart?

am i alone or is it a common problem?

but my FT3 doesn't have it. I just can't find the 'profit chart' anywhere.

please advise.

Bugs on Missing Data and no 'ESC'

ok, 2 additional issues: 1. this is a minor one, when pressing F2/F3 in testing, the pop-up window would show for entering a market/pending order. in FT2 previously, if i press 'ESC', the pop-up window will be closed. now in FT3, this shortcut is gone, i have to use mouse. quite inconvient...... 2. ...

Re: FT3 - Bug in test results

i believe that's a common mistake to try reverse buy with sell (or vice versa) and expect the loss to turn to profit. a loser system is usually still a loser if you reverse its buy/sell.

FT3 - Frequent Crash due to Data Gaps?

Hi, there are far more crashes happen than FT2 per my observation, it seems very often, when the data is missing, or there's a small gap in the current chart, the FT3 may report crash. i'm using default forexite data. I am not sure exactly why, since I have been always manually doing normal operatio...

FT3: Two Bugs on Interface

Hi, Thanks for the great tool, let's make it better. bug 1: in shortcut keyboard keys setting, there's no shortcut key for drawing a rectangle, but shortcut keys for ecilipse and triangle. please add rectangle option, it is very very frequently used. bug 2: in chart setting, the color of buy/sell ma...

An Issue (or a freezing function)

in testing mode, this issue is pretty annoying, could you developers plz consider adding this function to solve my problem? say, when i have two charts of eurusd, one 4h chart, one m5 chart if i try to observe how m5 chart's price action react to a 4h SR level, i'd naturally expect i can freeze the ...

Re: Graphical Order Function

hi, sorry, looks like i didn't make myself clear my exact point is to skip the dialog window of "place order" (either market or pending). it'd be supposed like this: 1. during testing, when i like to enter, i press a button (either keyboard or mouse) 2. three lines directly show on chart, ...

Graphical Order Function

I looked thru this forum, and didn't find the similar requests. anyway, just similar to MT4 when I press F3, i'll get a sell/buy limit/stop order dialog. Can I also get three lines: entry, stoploss, and take profit on the chart? and I can use my mouse to drag these lines to the price level i want so...

Jump (or Navigate) to a Specified Time

Hi, Dear FT developers though this does sound similar to the other thread talking about 'Anchor' time in FT2, my request might be a little different. Is it possible in both history and test modes, I, the user, could specify a date&time, then the chart jump over to that date&time. one example...

Margin Calculation of Hedge Positions

Hi, I'm using V2.9 now. I am finding a mistake in the margin calculation. an example: first, I buy 1 lot eurusd, the margin shows used, say, 1350$, okay so far then, with 1st position open, I sell 1 lot eurusd, the margin shows used, still 1350$, this seems wrong to me! now I have 1 lot buy vs 1 lot...

Very Very Weird Problema -- Working Strategy Example

Hi, Fellow Traders: I met a very very weird problem I coded a strategy that place long when month/day is bullish and W% in H1 oversold, and place short when month/day is bearish and W% in H1 overbought----very simple one. The code is attached, and it is a working strategy with only 1 issue: in the A...

To "Mirror" the Edge

Hi, I posted this question before in "bug" forum. I think I'd better post it here again with better elaboration of the issue that I have now. This seems an interesting topic. As we know, if there's a consistent loser system, I can simply reverse the long with short, and vice versa, to get ...
