Hi, I updated and recompiled the dll. Please use the attached file and let me know how it works. Thank you very much! I see lines, but it only up to 1.3000 (EURUSD). I don't see 1.3500 and above. Point and Figure

Is there any possibility to add a point and figure indicator to Forex tester? I see there have been several requests in the past but didn't go anywhere.

Is there an alert function?

Is there an alert function that displays a popup window, like in metatrader or something similar? I want to test multiple pairs manually and it would be helpful to be alerted when an indicator gives a signal.

Hi ginex. I don't think you can use your MT4 EA in forex tester. If you have the source code available or at least know how it works then go to the indicators section and there are some guys who might be able to port it to Delphi or C++ for a fee. Try to contact them.

My guess is that you might have the old file still in the indicators folder. Try to delete it and then install the new file. If the error persist you should install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package from here http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=a7b7a05e-6de6-...

Hi. Thanks for your feedback. You only need the dll file. The def and cpp files are the source code for those who understand C++ and want to fix bugs or want to develop it more. This is how I install the indicator: File->Install New Indicator In the box that appears I press the button with the three...

I think I made it workable. :) There is a change of approach. Since we are testing past data we already know what is the historical high and the historical low of the pair. So there is no need that the round numbers be calculated every time. We can enter them manually in the parameters window and th...

How to recover from stupid mistakes?

I am trying to learn how to program for forex tester. Some times I install dlls that have problems like for example endless loops. To recover this I just do a force quit of forex tester, delete that dll and the according opt file from the Indicators folder. After this I try to run again the software...

I am posting here the .dll file together with the source code. I am not a good programmer and I spent an entire day to figure what is wrong with the code. It displays without problem the round numbers but I don't know if anyone is interested in this buggy indicator. If anyone...
